    What would get you into ranked play?

    So my group were talking about how we would go about getting people into ranked and as far as I can see most of the things that would draw us are cosmetic. One small thing the devs could do is to turn off the colour restrictions in ranked and let everyone use neutral colours. I get why it is the way it is in casual, I believe that if people went into a game mode knowing it was what they were signing up for it would draw a few people.

    The main idea we had was around exclusive skin based armour rewards (not involving gear stats) that could be used in any game mode, something that is obviously different. I would likely have one that people can choose for one character for every couple hours in ranked and then one that can be selected for every couple of hours someone spends in the top 5% and the top 20%.

    None cosmetically and in regards to 1v1, it should not be an hour long commitment, especially when the none cosmetic rewards amount to the same as for 4-6 duels.

    Anyhow that's my spitballing, what would encourage you to go into ranked 1v1 or 4v4? I think that if we had a healthy ranked population there are things that would be easier to do, or in the case of things like quit penalties not do, in casual play so what gets you into that population?

    . Increased xp
    . Increased steel
    . rewards like 1v1 (ornaments ect)

    A new armor set, that actually looks good and isnt a reskin of existing armor.

    Possibly give a new mythic/mask outfit to top tier players thats unique to ranked.

    Increased steel

    Increased XP

    Finally, remove gear score from casual play and put it to ranked.... I think it would make more sense for Casuals to be where you gear up, and ranked to be where you utilize it.

    For Dominion, change the zone capping system.... You should have to remain on the zone, in order for it to net points.

    Balance premades and solo players in Ranked 4v4

    Give solo players more xp, steel, and ranked points for going into 4v4. 4v4 when it was released was dominated by premades and it made most of the solo players quit and go back to play normals.

    Remove Feats, and remove points from getting kills

    Feats unlocked from the get go instead of having to be earned mid match.
    kills not from defending or attacking a point are worth next to nothing.
    feat revamp system.
    Double steel/exp gain and a shot at getting old tourney ornaments.

    That makes sense but it also doesn't.
    I don't have a problem with it but wouldn't casual players who play regular dominion, complain that their gear score doesn't matter since Realistic Dominion exist and if they wanted Gear stats to not matter they would just play that instead?
