Coupla things:
First, I'm an American, and I am suspicious of these people claiming" I am a yank"- after 25 years living in sun shiny southern California, I have yet to hear any American state he is "a yank."
Second, if you shelled out sixty bucks(or pounds, I guess) for beta access, then(and I'm sorry to say this) you deserve to be out the money- you don't get to be indignant about spending you money in a stupid way.
Finally, so what one region gets the game first?! It isn't like there's going to be a six month gap between the US and UK launches- maybe one whole week. Big deal. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Wanna BET that Ubi wouldn't have a six month gap or something equally dumb? I would actually put money on them being stupid. It's pretty much a sure thing these days.
And of course, you have heard EVERY single way that EVERY single American talks about him or herself. Even those who are studying in other countries.

So...people pretty much bought Splinter Cell Conviction for nothing?</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I hopefully this series doesn't get screwed up nearly as bad as that one was w/ that title.
/Sarcasm on
Screwed up?
They did what they wanted to, dumbed the game down and opened it up for people with the attention span of a gnat. They took the basis for the game and made it something different. Splinter Cell is no longer about sneaking or being invisible. Now its about killing, period.
Why WOULDN'T they do the same for this one? Ghost Recon was always about killing people as fast and messily as possible, right? Oh and Michael Bay type cinematics too. Can't forget those.
/Sarcasm off
In all seriousness, they don't care what we think or feel. They will make what THEY want to and to hell with us.
