I am doing my best to be patient, but when you have been assigned the DLC for a write-up in your job, I would rather play the game myself and make my notes, than watch other people playing it on twitch and youtube. Unfortunately, still can't play, so I am in fact watching other people's gameplay. That doesn't mean I won't keep checking the forum to see if there are solutions or an ETA.
Just came back home and I see nothing's changed. But, I do notice their site claims Ubisoft servers are experiencing a DDoS attack and affecting access to their games. Haven't tried loading the Division yet, etc., to see if this is across the board. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon enough. But the thought of watching streams instead of playing it myself....ugh, <shudders>
Hey jonsarik73, if you're still experiencing this, please make sure to create a ticket. Thanks!
It's now 9:40pm Atlantic time (7:40 pacific) and despite having gold edition I cannot play Lost on Mars. Started a ticket with no reply after waiting hours upon hours. Started chat and after being told it wasn't released yet, I was told to verify files and I did which also didn't work. Now I have uninstall uplay and the game and reinstall it? Not going to. That will not fix it and I refuse to lose all my progress because your support team doesn't even know the release date of a AAA title. That's what verifying the files does anyways and I run uplay as administrator so there's nothing on my end causing this. (confirmed by the amount of people having the issue). So this is on you Ubisoft.
Glad to know that people who spend extra in good faith before waiting for reviews (or worse--illegal copies) are the ones left without. And to be clear I buy all of your games. And usually gold edition. This is entirely unacceptable and should be very easy to fix... Look at our account purchase history... Verify we bought gold... Give standalone version of Lost on Mars (as if we owned base game and bought each DLC separately) because you wouldn't lose anything by doing that. But if this keeps up, you will indeed lose customers.
