First of a series of steps in minion rights
Finally, after years of exploitation, minions find a spark of light carving through the dark cave of their lives. They were, and still are, laughed by, thrown around, killed ten at a time by raiders spamming their AOE attack, without any possibility to fight back. Doomed to short lives, perishing slowly killed by other minions, or by enemy heroes and their catapults, fire bombs and other cruel killing machines (and sometimes, even their teammates); and meanwhile, no one cares about them. No one thanks them for fighting the great battle on the main objective. No one recognizes their usefulness. Maybe because they haven't got any.
But in October, the time will come to raise from their ashes and fight real battles, really helping their teammates and even killing enemy heroes. The S.M.U.R.F. (Society for Minions' Usefulness, Rights and Freedom) achieved its first victory in the Breach mode (that will be released the 16th October), of which we got a preview some days ago; because in that mode minions, equipped with pavese shields and spears, will fight their way trough the battlefield with decent amounts of health and damage output, killing enemies by outnumbering them or anyway providing substantial help to their teammates.
This is the first step in a path that will lead us to a future where minions won't be mocked and slaughtered like krill in the mouth of a wale.
Thanks to everybody who contributed to accomplish this great goal. The fight is not over yet, but if we all put even a little effort in this, there's no way that this world can't become a better place.
