I put 2 torpedos into a c3 cargo which left it dead in the water, I was out of torps so I sat around for a bit to see if it would sink. After 10 minutes it caught fire and burned for about a day before breaking up and sinking. Great. Except I wasn't credited with the kill????
Lame lame lame lol
A c3 is a nice kill in early 1940 an I got ripped off there I think.

If you save game before a ship you have hit actually sinks then load the save you don't get the credit. ie you only get credit for ships you hit in that paticular session plus those already in your log.

Ah that would be why I didn't get the kill then... I saved just after hitting the c3 then ramed it for a laugh then reloaded the game. Doh shouldn't have bothered larking around.

as for sinking the C3 you have to hit them just behind the main superstructure, its a 95% sure kill with only 1 magnetic torpedo
