Oh well, bring on the slingshot and the paint ball weapons... perhaps they will have less bullet drop than the ones we have now![]()
If you actually look at the M1891 in game, there is absolutely no way that it's a Mosin Nagant 1891, from a 100 years ago. In fact, I can't even find a real world version of that weapon, so it must be really obscure. The only weapon that was used in WWI, (that isn't a novelty weapon) is the M1911 pistol,. But even though they have been in service since 1911, they are actually still being produced, so the one in game is not an antique.
I really don't mind seeing classic weapons. Though obviously, just like the Musket, Veteran Bren, and Luger, the usability in this game is very thin and limited.
All in all, having these guns and those clothing attributes added totally wouldn't mind. What I would mind is most likely the price that comes with it.
"All of these would only cost a measly $350, mon amis."

I could maybe understand asking for these things, IF, and it's a big IF, all the modern gear that has been requested, has already been added to the game. But until that happens, I want any and all resources UBI is wiling to put into Wildlands's customization options, to be used creating real world tactical gear and clothing.
I would imagine this costing about $30-40 USD. However, it could be split into two Ghost Packs and a vehicle pack, as follows:Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post

Then go play milsim with an airsoft gun. The point of a video game is to ENTERTAIN.
I love these "go play a milsim" retorts. As if there can't possibly be a genre, title or anything that exists in between. ......they always take it to the extreme which is a little ironic since the OP is telling others to go play something else but at the same time trying to make the game into something that it's not. ....or at least what it wasn't originally.
It's an 1891 action set in an Archangel OPFOR series stock.Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post

Well there Jason Wolfe, I could say something like go play BF1, or find some role players to go play WW1 with, if that is what thrills you. After all, if you are not ENTERTAINED by modern combat and using modern equipment, then why play the game? As far as playing Airsoft, I really wish I could. I served 15 years, and was a member of the Naval Boarding Party for several years, including as the marksman. I've used some of the weapons in the game, or similar, and would love to use some of that experience in Airsoft. But unfortunately, those 15 years took a toll on my body and am now severely disabled, so my only outlet is through video games.
