Just Dance helped me lose 270 pounds

I had no idea where I could share this so I decided to post here. I am just hoping it could help motivate someone out there.

For the majority of my life I had been morbidly obese until I ultimately decided that I needed to do something about it. I was 520 pounds and I could see that I was going to be bedridden if I kept following that path. My sister pushed me to follow a strict diet and to start exercising. The exercises started off with simple things like walking and putting my arms up and down until I worked up a sweat. I had always loved watching dance videos but was never able to dance seeing as how my weight contributed to me having back and knee problems. Once I was able to do so, I bought Just Dance 2014 and played that game as my workout routine until I got myself down to 250 pounds. I reached my goal and continue to play JD 2014 and 2017 as part of my regular routine.

I love this franchise, it's ridiculously fun, awesome and, at the risk of sounding like I am exaggerating, it helped save my life.

Wow! That's incredible. Ubisoft should share your story (if they haven't already). It would offer encouragement and inspiration for many.

When I first started Just Dance a few years back, I was sore, tired, and sweaty after just a few easy songs. It was a wake-up call: I hadn't realized I had been so out of shape. I've been dancing almost every day since, and I'm in the best shape I've been in for a long time. Now I have the stamina to dance for quite a while (though a few combinations, like Footloose + Sayonara + Daddy Cool, challenge me to keep my energy level up throughout).

Thanks for sharing your story. Happy dancing. :-)
