So, today I ran across a group of three people in my first two games using bots for counter gb and guard stance mimick, and another two in the very next match we set up.
At first, you think what most think, maybe this guy is just a good player.... however, there is a give away:
For starters there was ONE level 50 orochi who was actually playing. You could kill him with skill and a bit of luck, and he was solid. So Bravo to that kid.
But quite literally EVERYONE else in the matches. flat out cheating with programs.
I tested the players out individually as best I could mid dominion matches.
They not only blocked EVERYTHING, and GB and counter GB 100 percent of the time when you GB them, even when their back is turned to you and they are fighting someone else...
But, the easiest way to test if they were botting was by doing the guard stance shuffle as I call it; press different directions for stance as quick as possible in tons of random directions while neither of you is hitting each other. if they are human ,they WILL mess up at least twice over four or five seconds, OR they wont adjust at all and wait for you to calm down your guard position spam.
If they are literally mimicking EXACTLY where you go for guard position with incredible time and accuracy, they are botting.
and I caught five separate players doing this. I will start recording my games again, and reporting for it with video recorded on Twitch. Like I used to do when the leveling bots were active on here last year.
But I wanted to make sure that you guys knew that this was becoming so prevalent that im catching it in multiple games in a row now.
And since this is a suggestion area, I am suggesting that there be an update to the bot detection in your game.
This isnt something new, or recent. I catch it at least twice a day, USUALLY only one guy maybe two in a match. And they always have trendy little gamertags; and they are blocking and counter GBing like this at level 8 or 13.
But I would love to get them banned for life.
My team climbed on for some fun, and we quit after about four matches of this stuff. It was pretty disheartening.
And I am not the only person on my unit that tested this. One other on my team did it as well, just to make sure it wasnt just me getting mimicked.
My advice to anyone who tests out another player and notices it, report them on the Ubisoft support page immediately after match. Get video to attach or a link to the video to put in the report, and report it immediately. The support page is faster and more reliable. Write down their gamer tag name in the report so they can be checked and tagged by corporate the next time they are on.
You may run into them again over a week or two; but I used to report bot gamers on here last year with twitch feed proof, and I would still see them for about a week or two, then they would disappear and have never seen them again. It feels great.
I hope your detection department can get on this before it gets out of hand and we are seeing it in every match; especially with the expansions and updates coming out in weeks.
