A letter to UBISOFT (Primal and 5 both).

I have completed Primal and Far Cry 5 both. I have completed letters to you guys for developing such awesome games, but never made a post like I did for Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. As I am too busy with my life and its seriously hectic. All I have too say in short was Primal was literally awesome. I mean the night scenes and milky way delivered as per my request. The best experience for me in game was with taming scar bear, played late at night and the effects with bats during dungeon scenes were literally amazing. I played it on 29 inch monitor. The 2nd scene was taming blood wolf as well and it was early morning and the wolfs going woo. I had a lot of great moments which I typed in a notepad and stored it as I experienced the game. Ill post it later.

Regarding Far Cry 5, its truly a master piece. The characters were so well played and the music was on the spot. I enjoyed every bit of the 5th installment. Even my both nephews enjoyed the game one on PS4 and the other one on PC. I can proudly say that my both nephews are UBIsoft's loyal fans of Far Cry series, even though we all have huge age differences. I am their coolest uncle and got the games for them. I really appreciate the diversity in side games in each map that you guys made, it really made Far Cry 5 outstanding in gameplay compared to the others. This is what I wanted and I want more diversity. But the reason that I am creating this post in such short notice is cuz of a single disappointment I had in Far Cry 5.Even though I had to get in the shoes of protagonist (rook), I never got in his shoes. I mean he was mute all the time and didn't express any feelings during the beautiful journey that I experienced through the game. Kindly make the protagonist talk and involve in the next installment which is 6. Let him get involved have background stories like Jason and Ajay and make us get lost in the game. I don't want to play the character as me when i am fighting so many beautiful villains in Far Cry series, I want to be involved in the characters story. I really love you guys and you guys have done an amazing job on Far Cry 5. Also 1 more complaint that I have is Faith's map seems to be really lame. I love Johns & Jacobs map a lot. Kindly please keep the level of details in every pixel of the next installment, don't get lazy towards the end. You guys really have the potential to deliver awesomeness. I really adore your creativity GUYS! I wish you all the best for Far Cry 6 and I can't wait for Far Cry 9.

    Your loyal fan!

Why 9? Why not 69? But speaking seriously.....Far Cry can be a perfect game in the future! But today I see many and many mistakes.....Nevertheless some buildings looks very immersive. Rusty...shabby.....dilapidated.....With the rattling of "antiquity" and the howling of wind....Old, shabby buildings has its own magnificant attractiveness....more and more it in Far Cry!.

We're very happy that we able to provide you a great experience with the series. We always ask for our players to give us feedback on ways they feel we can improve on the title. We hope with more content to come in the future that we can provide you with an even more pleasant experience.

I actually like being able to identify AS the character, rather than playing someone who has a contrived "personality" which is different from my own.

So you like a character which is mute all the time? I mean you were playing as a cop in this game and not as yourself. Like I work in IT department, so I don't know what a cop must be going through in his head while liberating a county. Jason expressed his feelings at the end of Far Cry 3 was seriously amazing, it touched the inner me. Its hard to play somebody's role in real life as well, the only role one can play the best is of themselves.I wanted to play a game as a police officer for so long and Far Cry 5 did literally offered me to play as a police officer, There were so many awesome moments, like when Ray's wife gave birth to daughter and those pregnancy scenes and jokes, etc. Trust me giving the voice to protagonist would have put Far Cry 5 on a different level.

I agree with OP about the protagonist. It certainly did not increase my immersion or add anything to the game by having a mute protag, if anything it was distracting that they said nothing as NPCs spoke to them, it made it weird and honestly did the opposite of the intention for me. I disagree about Faith's region though. I live in MT, and in an area that more closely resembles Faith's region than either of the other 2. I thought Jacob's region was the least compelling personally.
