[PC]BUG! controller is treated as a mouse | Forums

so i have been playing For honor since it was free, started playing with my controller since day three or so.

have been playing without bugs till last week when all of the sudden when i wanted to go into guard mode i suddenly did a light attack one milisecond after guard mode apeared.
my charracter (Centurion which i spend the whole time saving for) suddenly didnt listen to what i wanted to do, the only way i could kill anybody (it happened during a BRAWL) was to do a heavy attack without guarding, which for some reason did an area attack.
then when i went into the main menu i noticed that when using the joystick the mouse cursor started movibng around, i did some experiments and it turned out my controller was now turned into a mouse all of the sudden, it didnt happen the games before the brawl that day and i did not change the setting, it just happened.
my RT was now the right mouse button and LT the left one, but it was also the normal controller button so they do both commands at the same time by just pressing 1 button.

please help since i really like the game and i cant find any1 else with this problem... it happened mid match without anything being done except spamming heavy attack (yes im that kind of centurion since it works 90% of the time and it will suprise the enemy more when i do a sudden light attack)

Are you launching the Uplay version of the game from Steam as a non-steam game?

im not launching it from steam im launching it from uplay and when i goto use my controller it bugs out and starts showing all the mouse bindings
