For me, this bug is the deciding factor on whether or not I purchase the next version of YSFE.
I can deal with the other things, like the game saying I'm not in sync with the instructor when I am. I've been putting up with that since day one. It's annoying, but not a deal breaker for me.
Like many, I've invested a lot of time in my progress and I want to see that progress in the game and online and I want them in sync.
It doesn't seem to matter which exercise I end my session with. None of the progress gained in that session is saved in the game. It is saved on the site, but that's not good enough. What happens when the site is no longer maintained/updated?
If this bug is not fixed for this version of the game, then I have no confidence in the next version. I won't invest any time in another version of the game only see my progress grind to a halt in the game. Maybe it should be renamed YSFE "Groundhog Day" Edition.
It's been almost a month since I last launched the game because there is no incentive to do so anymore. Thankfully it's summer and I can get my workouts elsewhere, but it would be nice to have YSFE to fall back on when the weather sucks.

As this problem seems not to be resolved or nowhere in the process of being looked at, I will also not be buying the new version when it comes out. My on line total is now updating although it lost over 3000 calories somewhere. The worry is that if something happens to the website then there is no incentive to carry on. I keep my own total so I can see how much I'm doing but it is so frustrating not to have the program and website in sync. I agree that it is annoying that Ubisoft does not acknowledge that there is a problem at least!

Either you pass on the information, they respond, but you don't tell us, or, you pass on the information, and they simply never reply.
Are you honestly saying in all this time that you haven't received a single response from them? How do you know that your information is being received? Do you get an automated reply: "Thank you for passing on the information. We will get back to you," but they never do get back?
This bug is six months old and no one at Ubisoft has shown the slightest degree of courtesy.

If you post everything then what has been their response? Words of encouragement: "Please convey our deepest apologies to the community. Let them know that we are working tirelessly to resolve this matter and we will keep you updated with our progress"? Or silence? If you do relay new information to us then clearly it is the latter. That is very disappointing!
Have you actually said to them, "The community is very frustrated with your apparent indifference to this serious bug and as a matter of courtesy they expect an official response and regular updates"?
This is what we have been saying, and this is what they seem to be continually ignoring.

count me in as one more of the dissapointed fans of YSFE that suffered with this bug. It's two weeks now that my calories aren't saved. After reading this, I'll start over but this is extremely frustrating and a shame that Ubisoft is more occupied working on 2012 version than solving this issue.

Still no word on this bug? Bummer. It was reported many months ago. I loved YS:FE as it got me excited about exercise after years of not doing much at all. I played it nearly everyday since launch, I lost 35lbs (just using YS:FE no diet considerations at all). Then the bug hit me...
Between the dismal YS Dashboard Site (how hard is it to link a FB button or remove it if it don't work) and the game not tracking my stats properly (without word that it is even being looked)...I have jumped ship. Now, I will say that new fitness game is not without bugs... the differnce is communication between the Devs and the Community. They are telling us what they are doing and what to expect. That's all I ask. To be informed.
I take lack of communication here to mean this will never be resolved for this version. And if, Release a game in Nov. and announce a new version in June of the next year is a sign of things to come...It is going to be a hard sell to get me to upgrade. I'll buy DLC forever but not upgrade to fix bugs.
Like I say, I owe quite a bit to YS:FE but the frustration will cause me to not be an early adopter of YS 2012 which in this genre prolly means I won't go there.
My Bad: Looks like they are fixing the Dashboard now...FB Now works.
