Ugh, I started having this problem since Monday that just pasted! My calorie count on your shape center shows I've burned 14006, but whenever I start playing YSFE it shows 13749 which was my calorie count before Monday! I've read this thread and it's been goin on since January! I would hate to start from SCRATCH! WHEN THE HECK IS UBISOFT GONNA FIX THIS BUG?! I'm starting not to feel motivated anymore

I'm already at that point. I didn't think it would bother me that much, even when taking into consideration all of the other issues that still aren't addressed, but not seeing progress within the game has eliminated any desire to play it again. I haven't touched it in over a week now. Thankfully the weather has been nice, so I've been doing more cycling. Granted I can't see a calorie count, but the scenery is much nicer and it burns about twice as many calories.

I've been in communication with Jason from Ubi tech support a couple times this past week to report the issues we're all talking about, and I've been pretty much getting the typical response (disappointing to say the least):

(6/13/2011, 4:29 p.m.) Thank you for reporting this issue. I have sent this along through the appropriate channels for processing. If this issue is resolved, the solution will appear on the support section of our website.

(6/14/2011, 1:49 p.m.) As indicated previously, this is a known issue that the developers are currently investigating. As soon as any additional information becomes available, it will be placed in the game's forums and in our FAQ. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Another Raises his hand. My console quit saving Calories (and sessions complete) a week ago... (right at 30,000 calories), YS Center is fine.

I was sort of dealing with it as I see online is ok, but seeing I have 5 more gunnar sessions, every time I do one is starting to bother me.

Must be the Game save on the console isn't being updated... I have actually gone in and changed my save device hoping that it would write whatever was there to the new file...did a session (next day) and no joy...

You are joking!? Neither you nor Ubisoft have ever got back to us with an official response. It's six months now, yet the only thing we're likely to hear is the ringing of the cash registers as the next version is released.

I understand this is a frustrating issue that keeps rearing it's ugly head but the best that can be done right now is for me to report on it and wait to hear back. Hopefully I'll also get some more info on the next installment too.

Add me to the growing list of people who are frustrated with this bug. I know that the exercise is what's important, but it's frustrating to not have my progress counted and to start over every time. According to the date this thread stared, it has been going on for some people for a long time. My problem started a couple weeks ago. This should be fixed by now.

    Hi edevolve,

I wish I could say that I was chomping at your heels, but even though you're number 1 in the UK and I'm number 2, you are 30000 ahead of me!

If your bug is anything like the rest of us then at least the website keeps updating. It's just your Xbox that stops keeping track of your progress.

I'm not sure if they've fixed it yet, but what we found when they finally got the website working was that the total was everything except your last session. So if you finish with, say, a virtual smash (I burn about 9 Calories) then the other sessions are included in your total immediately when you visit the website. Having said that, because it completely stops updating everything on your Xbox you will begin to get annoyed when you select virtual smash and she says, "Hey, we haven't broken any bricks in a long time." "What about last night you stupid @#!_%?" I usually yell at the screen.

As for fixing the bug... it started in February (mine started at the end of March) so it is highly unlikely it will ever be fixed now. The worst part is that in all this time we've not had a single official response from Ubisoft offering either an apology or providing any indication if they are working on fixing it or they are just unable to fix it.

Also given the number of people who have invested so much time into the game, and to whom they should owe the greatest measure of courtesy, it is beyond acceptable.

Gypsy if you are listening please pass on that we as a community are entirely dissatisfied with their handling and would like someone who represents Ubisoft to make an official statement. If nothing else, what assurances do they have that the next version won't suffer the same bugs?
