Bunker Legendary Players with no code of honor | Forums

I used to let non-legendary players win at showdowns (because why not?), but I'm not doing this anymore. Why? As soon as I hit legendary, I've stopped caring about losing, but I still was caring about chips (need them for golden tickets for chips or tracks). On my pvp matches I used to play two tracks 'seriously', but on one of them I was intentionally failing near the end so my opponent would know what's going on. I wasn't play third one at all and I thought it's fair deal, especially if you want to hit legendary lvl as soon as possible.

But with every season more often I've encountered situation when my opponent did what he could to beat me on every track, even when I own only one. So now I play every pvp match with will to win, with one difference - as soon as I've got legend status, I stop using golden tickets. If I can't beat my opponent with free tickets, good for you, if not - pity...

I always enjoy a free win but it’s more satisfying to know I earned it. And by “earned it” I mean waiting until you fast guys go to bed and then taking two of the tracks at the last minute because there’s no way I can win if you’re paying attention!

Fine to love those that let you in, but weird to hate those that don't. Legend rank is basically for bragging rights only, but doesn't get you any extra rewards, so makes sense that some want to get their rank as high as possible. It seems kinda wasteful to me to blow golden tickets if you're outside the top 50 but that's me.

Legends don't owe you anything. Note their names and don't give the free wins if the situation is reversed, but otherwise don't hate on people that want to compete.

Obviously legend players don't owe me anything nor my thread is pure hate, it's just pretty annoying seeing riders like ElvisFaria-EBR waste gt to beat you with no reason wen he's at rank 100 legend! He will never get top 50, so what's the point?! And he's a little bit bettter then me, so notthing to prove again.
Well, i'm at rank 1, if i don't get legendary, i'll get the new track the same, don't care.

Edit: I just beat the current number 2 in bunker with that strat, maybe tho, he went easy on me cauz i was rank 1, he sure as hell didnt make it easy

I suppose the honor code is only for rank 1 players? In that case ill won't give free wins for lvl2 players for more chips and cash

Been a long time since I played the bunker seriously; but I am glad to see we are still helping some folks get into Legends in some way. When it comes to Legends I've always felt this game was more about "us vs RL" instead of "us versus each other"

My rules were fairly basic once I was in Legends:
- Spend no tickets but start every showdown I can.
- If I want coins, I focus all my free tickets on one track.
- If the opponent isnt happy with the other two tracks and the win, and tries to beat me on "my" track... all bets are off. Take the tracks back at the last minute and watch them panic.
- Never mess with KarTank, CarterClem, and the other Truly Awesome Riders.
- Never get involved in a land war in Asia, and Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
