    Differences in difficulty settings?

    Howdy,

Does anyone know the actual differences between the difficulty settings? All I was able to find with a quick google search were wildly-varied opinions based on people’s own personal experiences. What I’m wondering is whether the developers have actually released explicit details specifying the changes (such as smarter A.I. with increased difficulty, more player health at lower difficulty, etc.).

If anyone’s wondering, I’m asking because I’ve been playing on hard and haven’t progressed further than 33% through the main story because I’m OCD and I keep starting over every time I die. So I’m considering dropping down to normal, just wondering what to expect...

Ooo, doing a no-death run? Those are always fun/frustrating.

I will check and see what I can find on the specifics for each difficulty!

Thanks, any info would be helpful. And ya fun/frustrating is the perfect way to describe it.

A no-death run in Far Cry 5? Geez, that could get frustrating quick. So many deaths happen from things out of your control, ie; an airplane falling on your head, a bug where you fall through the ground or something. Unless you're willing to ignore those kind of deaths?

steve.stav, If you enjoy constantly getting killed by 1 or 2 hits taken, then by all means play with the hard/insane/masochistic/suicidal/ or whatever you want to call it settings. I'll stick with normal and actually enjoy the game and enjoy not getting killed all the time You can play on hard once you have maxed out all your perks and not before, because by then, easy becomes a cakewalk, normal becomes easy and hard becomes normal.

It looks like the major difference should be a player's total health + regeneration rate.

Still waiting for full details, so I may edit this post with an update.
