Why is this exploit still in this game ?

Why does assasins still have the possibility to free GB you after you hit them while they are on the floor ?

What's the point to all of this ? Throw them, give them a light , the getting GBed and hit with a heavy or even worse ?

Can anybody explain the logic behind this ?

I've noticed this too, especially with Shinobi. It's irritating as hell

It's not an exploit, it's a result of game mechanics. Maybe be more mindful of the attacks you throw and their recovery times, and how long it takes for a downed opponent to recover, so they don't overlap and you get caught with a GB in recovery eh?

Most bugs are a result of game mechanics, in case you weren't aware of that. If they fall to the ground, getting punished, then punishing that punish isn't what the devs intended, therefore being an exploit.

Do you also get angry when you try to punish a heavy parry with a heavy attack, then in turn get parried and take damage?

It's not a bug though. It's to do with the recovery times of certain attacks versus the recovery time of getting up. You should only be doing attacks with long recovery times if the downed opponent is either OOS and thus can't punish you or you can guarrantee a kill.

It's about using the correct punish for the correct situation.

Then it is not a punish, it's a trade.

Punish is when you do guaranteed damage when enemy fluffs something without them being able to react or counter it
