How to place objects outside the map limits (Guide)

A little secret for creating those ideal backdrops that you always wanted.

    To do:
1 Select the object you want to move outside the map.
    2. Set its pivot point to the opposite side of the map
    3. Move it outside the map.

(you can do this multiple times to get it even further)

This happens because the editor will base the position from the pivot point. If the picot point is outside map limits, it ll give out an error and wont let you place it.
Restarting the editor wont affect the object. Make sure the object is large so that its rendering radius is large and can be seen from far away.
    This only works with objects.

Additional tip: Budget is also calculated from the pivot point. You can move the pivot point of budget heavy assets to other sector so you can place more stuff on one area. Be careful though, this exploit may slow down players so use it with caution!

Ahh im not the only one who descoverd this! The water volumes have there pivot points on one corner, so if you make it the smallest size and then move it to the edge of the map and resize it so it extends beond the edge of the map! Dont know if a map would publish with the water like this though?

I published a map successfully with multiple objects outside the map grid, but I havent tested water as if you set the water level then you get a pretty nice effect that covers the entire horizon. I assume you want water on one side only?
