Hi mates
I really like that Valk's style, she is a real heavy - assassin hybrid which is perfect for me, she even has a shield and a spear which is also perfect for me.
However, she is obviously a girl, IDK what but it just feels very strange playing as a girl.

So my question is, what is the closest char to Valk? I can't decide although I'm rep 16 XD

BTW IMO it would be great to nerf the monk and give him a "normal" guard so he would be like the Valk

I would also really like to see a male Valk but it will be obviously completely stupid.

How weird is it that we live in a time where a man is made to feel guilty for not wanting to be a girl.

At the same time the attitude you bring to the table is people are being unreasonable for wanting females represented at all and that girls playing the game should suck it up and play as men.

Here is the thing, there are male characters, there are female characters, there are characters that can be both. Personally I don't care, I have between xbox and pc 32 reps in female locked characters, that doesn't make me better or worse than anyone, it doesn't make me more or less of a man than anyone, it means I like those characters.

I wouldn't ask street fighter for a male Chun Li, i wouldn't ask tekken for a female Steve Fox, I would either use the fast kicker or boxer or I wouldn't, but asking devs to go against lore of the culture they pulled Valkyrie from so that they can have a male spear person with Valk's kit just makes people come across as petulant self obsessed man children.

I have no side on this whole thing outside of that if my sister or a female family member were into gaming and were harassed at a con then I would be going to do something about it. People on both sides act like whiny brats and there need to be a lot less whiny brats of all ideologies in the world, but apparently unless we are trying to make gaming a male only environment we are harming it, there are literally youtube videos arguing this, and that is BS.

As for this, nothing screams "I'm a silly keyboard jockey" more than attempting to label someone sjw simply because they point out that there is in fact a significant amount of sexism in the forums. This isn't the first time we've seen posts like this.
