Hi mates
I really like that Valk's style, she is a real heavy - assassin hybrid which is perfect for me, she even has a shield and a spear which is also perfect for me.
However, she is obviously a girl, IDK what but it just feels very strange playing as a girl.

So my question is, what is the closest char to Valk? I can't decide although I'm rep 16 XD

BTW IMO it would be great to nerf the monk and give him a "normal" guard so he would be like the Valk

I would also really like to see a male Valk but it will be obviously completely stupid.

Valkyries were female according to norse mythology, this is were inspiration for the hero was drawn from to begin with. So a male Valkyrie wouldn't really make sense. That being said there were other interesting warriors in norse mythology still left unused, such as Einherjar for example. We might see one of those in the future perhaps.

Glad is fairly close to valk in terms of gameplay, although he also has reflex guard which you seem to not like. Nobu has the spear, but can also only be female. The new Chinese guy with a polearm might be a good fit for you, but we won't know until later on though.

As you said I don't like the reflex guard, IDK why but I can't block fast attacks with it consistently and it really annoys me.

I really hope they will nerf the monk (they should nerf him anyway) and will give him a "normal" guard

Another cool hero would be the Hoplite from the Hellenic era, though I am not sure what faction he would belong to.

Yeah many people have requested giving all classes both genders, buuuuuuut that's never gonna happen on account of the huge workload involved. We can't even get new armor for the models already in the game, we're certainly not getting all new models 😡

I feel you though, I've always hated when games forced me to play as a chick. I got lucky when I fell for the warlord, the manliest of the classes.

Gladiator is probably the most similar to Valkyrie on account of the pointy stick, but I don't think they play all that similar.
