[SUGGESTION]Add more scopes to LMGs with high magnification

In Ghost War, Enforcer have a MK48 with 4x ACOG scope, so I think it's possible to have the same feature in PVE.
In real world, LMG is designed to give infantry suppressive fire to pin down the enemy in long range, so it really need high-magnification scopes. Ubi can we make that change?

Wouldn't work though. The LMG's are incorrectly grouped in the game.

There's two aperture characteristics with any gun, follow? -- The inner (accuracy) and outer (suppression, or spread). Guns like Sniper rifles tend to have very small inner apertures, signifying more accurate group of shots, in the accuracy range; but have very wide outer apertures, signifying their shots outside of accuracy offer little to no suppression. -- LMG's would have the two groups much closer together.

As it is, LMG's tend to fire all over the place in the game (in a 3 round burst, one shot burrows to China, another to the moon and one might go straight! Maybe) and offer very little suppression, for some reason..

The reason why you mount an LMG (irl), is because in full auto, the RoF + Recoil as well as the weight makes it very hard to move around. It doesn't actually fire all over the place, but to move it around you fire in bursts. That inner aperture isn't nearly as small as a rifle, but it doesn't need to be, given it puts a hell of a lot of rounds in that same group. The same in the outer aperture. -- I mean LMG's are demonic, evil things.

So you wouldn't snipe with an LMG. Not unless it was heavily modified for anti-material rounds or something (barrel wouldn't last long though). You're almost always better off with a rifle or sniper rifle.

We tried putting ACOG scopes on LMG's for real. There's no point. They vibrate so much you can't focus. Good for spotting, but that's about it.

I was also wondering why thats not a feature in the campaign. Odd, along with other features that should be carried over

Well no one says they can't do it just for fun. Just saying, there's not a pragmatic reason to do it and wouldn't work in the game until LMG characteristics were fixed.

Seeing as to how many of the weapons are all wigged out, one would think this is not a weird request within the realm of the game. I remember enjoying having a scope on my LMG when playing MoHW even though it was only use in short burst and mainly for suppressing purposes... I am sure we would enjoy it here even if less given the accuracy of the enemy ai when alerted

That's what I'm saying. More or less.. MoHW was great. EA completely dropped the ball on that one for the Multiplayer. I wouldn't say the firearms are all wigged out in GRW though.
