Ghost Recon Future Soldier Community Mission with Rewards | Forums

Dear Gamers and Ubisoft,

Hook / Mission:

We seen the demo of Sam Fisher in a recent community mission. Might I say that the amounts of time playing that mission over and over, figuring out new ways to attack it was awesome, especially getting together with my military buddies. It was refreshing with the semi difficult patrol patterns and insane amounts of enemies just pouring in. But what if it could be more than just another day at the office?

Que in Ghost Lead, 30K, Pepper and Kozak, the DEVGRU of all Ghost teams if you will... Two Elite Ghost teams working together in a grand finale community event. Work together to eliminate a High Profile target in Bolivia.

Mission Parameters: Coordinate with the elite Ghost Team to eliminate target

Intel:

-Target: TBD

-Location: Classified (Intel gathering required)

Rewards: Cosmetic: Future Soldier Mask (With capability of changing its primary color "Solid colors"), Crye Combat Shirt (Rolled sleeves), Future soldier Flak (Armor)

Closing statement: I think it would be absolutely refreshing and it would bring joy to the community to see their favorite Ghost at it again, plus also revitalizing the want for another Ghost Recon, with future soldier mechanics and looks but just as immersive and RPG-like sandbox as Wildlands.


Overall I want to know how the community and the developers of Wildlands, would feel about this mission. So please leave comments and lets see how popular this idea could be.

Yeah, agreed. Would love to see other missions with the option to approach it in the same mode (Sabotage), based on the time of day maybe?

I think all long sleeve tops should allow you to choose sleeves, up or down. So, yah, good idea. Don't have Future Soldier yet. In fact can't even see GRAW in the MS store. Just Chapter 2.

definitely! Time of day will have a huge role in role playing how you'd attack a certain Situation and that was my hope in this thread. To sow the idea that it doesn't have to be at night. But with this said I'm looking for a difficult task to complete. With this said will it be ten times harder during the day?

As far as GR:FS what do you mean? There is a costume there in the community, only issue is I feel like it would hinder the creative process on people if they keep giving us costumes rather than actual GW Cosmetic items to mix into our gear. I believe the actual Future Soldier mask would be a great addition in this case.

Thank you Ubi-Alien! Just seeing how this thread already is receiving good publicity and awesome feedback little by little is awesome! I do believe we can help the DEV team create a solid community challenge that the gamers will enjoy to keep playing. I love the idea of wildlands but I love the old school GR like Future Soldier hence the community mission I'd like to spin up. A lot of console players miss it. If there was a way to incorporate a mixture in the future for future gameplay of Ghost Recon, I'd definitely see a big hit. (Graphically and game mechanic feel anyway. AKA: Future Soldier suppression.)

Now you can find a physical copy on amazon or ebay called "Ghost Recon Trilogy" which includes GRAW/GRAW2/GRFS amazing games. but if you only have a xbox one, you cant play just yet GRAW2 but GRAW and GRFS you can.

In the GR/SC universe, DEVGRU is a lower tier unit than the Ghosts, thus a "DEVGRU of all Ghost teams" would be a less elite team in the unit.

I don't know who "the community"'s favorite Ghost is, but I've always been partial to Alicia Diaz.

Bringing AFO Hunter into GRW would muck up continuity even more. GRW is set in 2019 and takes place before Future Soldier in 2024. Kozak and Cedric Ferguson weren't on the same team with Pepper and 30K until GRFS proper. Prior to that, 30K and Pepper worked with two other Ghosts, an unnamed Ghost Lead (a white guy, definitely not Ferguson) and Chuck, on an op in Russia in 2023 (Ghost Recon: ALPHA short film). Then, after that and shortly before the events of GRFS, Kozak, 30K, and Pepper worked with yet another Ghost named Bones on Operation Take Down Overlord (depicted in GRFS' live action trailer). At some point between Take Down Overlord and AFO Predator's mission in Nicaragua, Bones was replaced by Ferguson and the team that we know as AFO Hunter was born.

If anyone here even cares about continuity, that is.
