Yes, CaptainWeelie gets paid by Ubi.Originally Posted by Stefan2499 Go to original postHere is what Ubi looks for in a Community Manager, if you want an idea of what they do all day:

So its as I said earlier; Weelie isnt a developer or a QA person; not responsible for the creation of, or testing of the bugs we see. Weelie keeps players involved/interested via media, and enforces the rules of that media (ie ban the bozos who refuse to learn civility) ... passes our feedback to Sales/Development.... who may decide to do something or simply ignore it. When development has something to announce, Weelie and the rest tell us; whether its good news or bad. they are the "messengers", and its a fact of their job they will take the brunt of customer dissatisfaction.
As for us... we are a dead forum of 10-15 posters for a 4-year old game . . . IMO, we dont get much care and feeding here because we arent much to begin with; not anymore.Whereas Weelie also deals with the much more active facebook, twitter, various sales/marketing rolllouts, etc .... and may be doing so for many other Ubi games as well.
Overall, thats the right way to think about it; we dont know all CaptainWeelie does or what issues might be happening outside of work (in my younger days I judged someones apparent laziness, and then discovered they were dealing with the devastating loss of multiple family members; very bad on my part).Since I don't know all the insides I'll won't join the haters, after all it's not her fault the game is dieing. Or is it?
We do KNOW we dont like some whats happening to this game, and on this forum; thats why I focus my complaints and constructive criticism on those.
Still not taking responsibility for your own actions I see.also bans all players that have been snitched onWeelie doesnt need to be told, ya know.
Maturity will bring understanding that those people are refusing to learn and are essentially banning themselves.
