Ubisoft Devs made it clear, Ghost war PVP never going be as standalone game !

If they did release a stand alone version of Ghost War, for free, it would have to be extremely limited. Like the fre version would have access to only a few maps, and 3-5 base operators. You shouldn't be able to get everything that paying customers do.

This (Ghost War standalone) is an idea we've brought to the attention of the team, but it's not something that's being pursued at this time to my knowledge. GRW has had temporary Free Weekends previously and may do so again.

Plenty of reasons why this could happen... plenty of people care only about PvE and don't care about PvP and viceversa so perhaps prices could be less (30 instead of 60?) and if you want both (some people do) then you still pay the same 60... win win.

Also patches would be optional if say 95% of it is only to fix PvP issues and not much for PVE, or at the very least, this could be the difference between having to download a 15GB file or just a 3GB patch for PvE or avoid breaking your game.
