New content (like fallen ghost) with the $40 dollar season 2 pass?

Just have 1 question. for the ones who bought the Season pass year 2, are we gona get new content like Fallen ghost that actually brings a whole new mini-game... or are the PVE players just gona keep on being fed crappy 2 mission, no actual game play content? Seriously, I do enjoy the Sam Fisher and the Predator missions but it is not enough to even pass as viable content that costs $40.

The first year season pass to me was actually worth it cause we got atleast 50 hours of play for EACH of the 2 major DLC's (if we played them slow). I just dont see this new season being worth it and I'm pretty sure I just wasted my money when I could have bought a better game. I just hate seeing my once favorite game go to utter crap and making players pay for things that other AAA games give free.

you're not alone with your assumption.
2 seperate dlcs : 1 week early access for ghost war + the sam fisher gear, for 30 €
+ 3-4 sam fisher styled missions and no bug fixing.
one of the best games ever going to waste.

    [EDIT] :
    and guess what :
"we'll" tell you about the details, once "we" know about the details...

Except they will point out that one was a season pass for GRW, as a whole, including the Ghost War content, and the second is only a Ghost War season 2 pass. The problem is, they both cost the exact same, but the season 2 pass delivers, only a fraction of the content.

Year one pass - still 39.99 CAD on Ulpay - contains Narco Road, Fallen Ghosts, Unidad Conspiracy, Peruvian Connection, three ghost packs, an exclusive vehicle, early access to 6 GW classes, and a permanent XP booster.

Season 2 Ghost war pass - currently 39.99 CAD - contains early access to 6 ghost classes, Splinter Cell pack, and 8 loot crates

In the case of the Year 2 pass, the product description was pretty clear. As Uber mentioned:

    FEATURES
With the Year 2 Pass, unlock the six Year 2 Ghost War Classes with a one-week early access to fine-tune your tactics before anyone else.
Includes 8 Battle Crates (4 Spec Ops Crates + 4 Ghost War Crates).
Includes the Splinter Cell Pack, featuring 2 weapons, 1 CQC knife, 1 CQC move, 2 NV goggles, 1 pair of gloves, 3 camos, full Splinter Cell costume and 1 night-vision filter.
Everything else is free to anyone who owns the game so if early access isn't your thing or aesthetic items from the battle crates and SC pack, you did indeed waste your money. Personally, I felt burned with the initial SP and DLC that was launched. That was the first and last time I buy an Ubi season pass sight unseen or perhaps ever.

Let’s not even forget the fact that the Splinter Cell gear is exclusive to the Year 2 pass. No way of buying that separately if you only do PVE.

Which again, is fine for folks who value that kind of stuff.

As kean has pointed out, the season 2 pass is for PvP and offers hardly anything to PvE exclusive players. The direct answer to your question @deaths-kage is no. No you won't be getting any PvE content with that pass.

The extra PvE content is free to all players regardless of whether or not they have paid for the pass. As it is free we should keep our expectations in check in my view. I am expecting very little but would like to be pleasantly surprised.

As an aside the season pass also got a lot of other cosmetic items we didn't really expect. A whole bunch of guns into the main game for example. Not saying that will happen with season pass 2, but it has happened in the past.

Even though I think GRW needs more work doing to the end game, I can't say I regret getting the season pass really. In fact I'd say I got a lot more than I expected.

My one criticism is that the open world games tend to be treated like linear games, in that they seem to end when the main story does. Open world games beg to have repeatable content, or something similar to newgame+ (I know it's never coming ). Repeatable quests, such as to eliminate new cartel bosses, kidnap informants and stuff, would be a great addition to the game and reinvigorate it.

I'm not holding my breath, but they have said there's more coming that the challenges we have seen. It at least gives hope.
