    Just wondering if the player would know the zone is there and it is up to them to take the risk of entering.
    There is no warning indicator; it's up to the map maker to give hints to the players that the area will damage/kill them.
    Once you are in a damage zone, the HUD will show that you're taking damage (hit indicator).

    Unfortunately, there is no way to set type of damage; it acts as Crush/Blunt damage.

    Ubi-CJ please could you give us some more info on this ?
    Is it connected to Map Limits / Out Of Bounds as already mentioned or something separate where we can place it anywhere and set the damage level when players go into that area.

    I am so glad spawns are fixed finally.
    I believe this means we will be able to see where a person dies on the map , or given that option. Remember in FC2 , and when you died the crossbones was seen on the map by your teammates. You knew the location of the enemy.

    Sounds like some good improvements .

    I hope Ubisoft now gets working on solo coop lobbies.
    We need in future update a waY to play journey with with random people who are not a friend.
    Not everyone has far cry 5 friends.

    Is this update a download or are the lobbies added from the server side? Cause theres no update for my XBOX1 yet. Only update today was Elite Dangerous. State of decay 2 was yesterday.

    Well its 6:54AM Mountain time USA. Still no update. With the hype of July 5. Well its here. Don't tell me its gonna be one of them odd ball late afternoon updates.

    The downtime for the maintenance is at 10 EST, so 8 mountain, right? I expect the patch will go live at the same time or right after.

    I think the Kill feature would be a great addition for pits asked in another post. Maybe that is the answer.... you make a pit... damage zone or better kill zone in and some spikes around and thats it. I can´t imagine for what else i need a kill zone? or damage zone? ideas?!

    I've seen several maps set on roof tops that could've used a damage or kill zone to prevent you from going to an undeveloped ground level. A damage zone might be good for an area full of a dangerous substance, like a blazing inferno full of smoke or poisonous gas. Or if the floor is lava!
