    That is because I think the developer might think the hard way when trying to realize a suggestion.

    For example like the bloused boot. They have the technology since the first day for a clothing part to override other part. For example, headwear that overrides eyewear and facewear and vice-versa. So why wouldn't they use this tech and model a specific set of bloused-boot Pants and bloused-boot Boots that when the pants is selected through the Pants menu, the shoes you are wearing will be overridden by the set of bloused boots?

    I don't know what's hindering them from doing that with this existing method of theirs, while they managed to establish and installed a full Lootbox system and its new user interface to the game.

    This pretty much sums up what I was getting at in my post. I read your whole post and yeah, we're on the same page, as a few of us are it seems, which is cool.

    I'm merely drawing on my experiences with Destiny, but I'm also thinking in terms of evolution of that experience. Which is why I made a point to mention that you can pretty much throw out the window, everything previously (commonly) understood about game development (it's all changing). -- With the introduction of stream development, you're literally looking at one title, actually encompassing 'several games' and a whole different set of development targets, from the ground-up. -- Where the only impetus to launch a new title will be if the target hardware fundamentally changes in some way, and/or the devs, want to do something with the current engine, they just can't do.

    Otherwise, I feel it's very intelligent of them to focus on reusing existing assets as they're developing the game to meet a developing audience. So, when they do start to introduce new assets or global AI, then they're likely to revise existing content to balance things out, I would think.

    The thing about streaming development is that it really encapsulates the game utopian ideal. It's the game that keeps on giving, where it's only fairly large content you're paying for and over several years. -- My only caution to developers is that until there is a global standard on consumer Internet, they pay particular attention to their products management of that aspect.

    How far out do you see streaming though? I personally don't see it until at least 4 years, but thats simply from Yves saying that there looks to be one more console generation before that technology becomes available. What timeline have other people been putting out for that, or is it already available?

    The answer hinted at was more about Chractersmith. We don't know if they hard coded some limits to choice options (of which extra items still to come have to be included) or reserved capacity for what is in memory so you could pull up charactersmith on the fly.

    Well I think a big issue with adding anything along the lines of huge DLC would be a huge risk considering their last two dlcs only had a 50% success rate as far as community reception goes (people really liked FG and thoroughly hated NR). Statistically speaking with those odds if I was in charge of funding I wouldn’t put a dime into more DLC like that. That could be why we haven’t seen another big DLC like that and don’t seem to be hearing anything else in regards to something like it.

    I could however be totally 100% wrong and I’d accept that but as it stands there’s not enough financial incentive at the moment to fund big dlc. Which is probably why we keep getting these free special missions. They want a feel for how much play room they have for big future content. Bringing in Predator then bringing in Splinter Cell, they wanna see how much the fans are willing to sway for content.

    I personally love the Predator Cross-Over, is it whacky and out of place? Absolutely. But that’s quickly remedied with the fact that the ghosts agree to not speak of it to bowman afterwards because of how out of place and whacky it is.

    Bringing in splinter cell to the Wildlands, the execution was “Meh” but the cross-over is 500% welcomed.

    I think the devs need to think long and hard about the type of gamers their Ghost Recon fans are. The approach they took with NR says to me they don’t/didn’t understand us as their community.

    I love Ghost Recon, and even though Wildlands is basically the adopted child in the family it’s a welcomed addition in my book, Just needs some love is all. I’m excited and look forward to seeing where this game/franchise goes from here. I think this talented development team is going to make great decisions in the end.
