Your definition of pirate is... wrong Deek_KayE. That's not what piracy is.
Piracy is an act of robbery or criminal violence by ship or boat-borne attackers upon another ship or a coastal area, typically with the goal of stealing cargo and other valuable items or properties. Those who engage in acts of piracy are called pirates.
...A land-based parallel is the ambushing of travelers by bandits(!) and brigands(!) (not pirates) in highways and mountain passes.
pirates explored islands, too! and they also had sword and gun fights...and I'm also pretty sure they couldnt fire their cannons like automatic machine guns back then lol...and this is how you unfortunately fire your cannons in this gameOriginally Posted by Veledrome Go to original post
You do realize that not all the cannons are firing at the same time, thus creating a "machine gun" effect right..? I don't understand why you are trying to show bad image of every aspect of the game without actually thinking and researching about it first. From all of your comments, I can see you use no logic behind your statements, and saying you speak for "majority" which is the idea you get from some comments here and there and youtube. I understand if you have negative feedback about the game, and that is fine. But I am starting to feel like you just want to spread hate and false info about the game.Originally Posted by DeeK_KayE Go to original post
I'm actually spreading proper info about the game and how bad it is for not having island/underwater explorations, sword and gun combat etc. but you do also realize that the comments I read on youtube are the TOP comments which means they have lots of likes and they pretty much are under every single skull and bones video on youtube...AND most of the comments that the skull and bones videos have are negative..why? simply because of the fact that skull and bones only has naval stuff to offer....they also say that its a bad pirate game because it doesnt have land/underwater exploration and sword and gun combat and so on...the naval aspect of this game is awesome but if this is the only thing you can do, then meh...Originally Posted by Veledrome Go to original post
Might of been 1 pirate that was also known as an explorer, but for the life of me can't remember his name. But that would be the exception to the rule.Originally Posted by DeeK_KayE Go to original post
And while its petty, if there is any type of break to reload a gun/cannon then it does not actually fire like an automatic machine gun.
Thinking this game might be better for my kid than me, really depends on its " historical " game mode. I might just end up suffering the crap in Naval Action for the excellent ship combat there. Either way hope to test or rent this to see how it plays and give feedback.
Thank you everyone for providing your feedback!
It's great to see your suggestions, such as underwater and island exploration. I'll make sure to forward your thoughts and suggestions to the team.Originally Posted by DeeK_KayE Go to original post
Having an open mind is always a good approachOriginally Posted by Ruthless4u Go to original postThe historical ships is an interesting idea, I will make sure to pass this on.
wow thanks a lot for forwarding my message, I really appreciate it sir! might as well forward manual boarding and land sword and gun fights XDOriginally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
And that, my friends, confirms that we won't be seeing "manual boarding" anytime soon. I will say, just wait for the game and play and see for yourself.Originally Posted by Flawbringer Go to original post
its really funny how justin farren promised us that this game will offer much more than just naval combat and yet here we are, seeing only naval combat and in the interviews he also says theres only naval combat and no island or underwater exploration and no sword and gun combat etc..he said things that encompass the pirate fantasy but that is not the case at all!
