Why can you only share your weapons and gear with players that are or were in your group while doing missions. I never understood this as part of the game because some of the players get many exotics and others do not. It would be great to share or trade those if you like with other players. When players have different level the higher level item can be adjusted to match the lower level scores. I would like to see exchange options were one or both players drop an item in transfer box and when both agree they get swapped. This way I could share the many exotics I got during playing with any player I want to give it to when they struggle to get it, and vice versa.
It's not an option to prevent an unwanted market.
Imagine this: Deadly, Responsve The House for sale, $12 and 2 Bullfrog with at least one of them Unforgiving on it. Will only accept PayPal, with my trustworthy Nigerian Prince cousin as a middleman.
And it won't stop there. People would sell complete classified sets for insane prices, and the worst part of that is that some kids would buy into that stuff.
I agree that items will be for sale in real world $ if there isn't some sort of regulation. It would become loot boxes (of sorts) for real life money. Pay to win is not something ANY game should encourage. TD2 looks like it will support clans: So how about sharing weapons or gear among clan members only? It won't put a complete stop to $ transactions unless the items in question are only usable by clan members. Leave the clan, lose the gear. Just a thought.
‘Why can you only share your weapons and gear with players that are or were in your group while doing missions.‘
Like others have said to open the sharing up to anyone would lead to exploitation. I like the idea of established teams being able to share anything they wanted. I like the clan idea to allow single player pve to get the benefit of a group. So imo there needs to a better mechanism to enable players to find like minded players to form a group with. Then everyone gets to play the way they like and gets the benefits of proper fire teams and the sharing of equipment and weapons.
In TD1 some of the best sessions I had were playing with a team who not only shared some great kit but took me with them into the hardest part of DZ. that was very challenging in just pve but of course gave access to the gucci kit. The rogue idiots with the gucci kit preyed upon solo players imo. The solution to access to kit is coop imo and not just sharing.
No it would create a pay to play enviroment. Streamers and youtubers would start selling gear.Originally Posted by Noxious81 Go to original post
