    Disappointed

When i started to play this game, I thought that it was amazing, innovative, Wonderful.
I forgot that it was made by Ubisoft.

During the experience, a lot of updates have been released, some of them slightly improved the game but most of them made cr**py characters even more cr**py.

Now we have an Orochi that can win just by spamming light attacks, he is too resistant for his class/armor/speed, he can throw things, activate poisoned weapons, and at high levels he also make high damage. Guess what, he's the most chosen character, because it's easy to win with him.

We have a Kensei that was a good character (I used him for a while and I'm rep 3). Now he's not a warrior anymore, he's just a dancer with a sword. When he start dancing you just cannot do anything to stop him (is this game called For Honor or Just Dance?).

The Shinobi was already enough ridicolous when he was released (teleports, bleeding, very fast and double light attacks, ecc.) but he had a good feature: his HP were very low (which makes sense, since he is small, wears no armor and is fast as f**k). after an update, they increased his HP and now he is completely broken (No, this game is not about Naruto).

The shaman? Funny that whatever she does, she restores her HP. Bite? HP restoration (and more then 1/3 of opponent's HP loss), series? HP restoration. she also performs fast heavy attacks while spinning (phisically impossible). She can alter heavy attacks into light ones from another direction and they're just too fast to block/parry.

Peacekeeper is quite the same as above assassins (fast, bleeding, can alter attacks very fast, ecc), but luckily (I don't know why) few people choose her.

In my opinion, assassins class makes this game disappointing, because it has a lot of potential, ruined only by the fact that Ubisoft developers just aim to earn more and more (which is a reasonable goal for a big software house) but ignore the quality of it's games itself (which is NOT acceptable for a big software house).

The fact that the assassins () are the most chosen characters (by children and people who does not want to put any effort and just want to win "the easy way") confirm what I'm saying.

    Opinions?

The orochi was chosen the most even before the buff (possibly second to the warden or the raider) probably because of the popularity of the katana. He is still quite weak by the way, he and the pk need unblockables too.

All the features stated above are not enough for you? you would also add unblockables to them? Are you joking?

I agree that Assassins often ruin games. Well not all the time but i think most assassins are either too strong, have some bullcrap ability or are just annoying. They should seriously change how most assassins work. I'm not saying that they should nerf them, but do a rework so they arent as annoying or OP.

Considering that most "OP" heroes have been Assassins there is a clear pattern in whats wrong. Ubisoft deems that just because they're supposed to be fast and agile they can make em that way.

I'm a little unsure with Shinobi since i dont fight them as often.

But kensei, Omfg. He's such an annoying banana to fight. He has so many switchups so you just have to sit and watch while he kicks your ***. I Especially agree that he's just become some ****ing Micheal Jackson of Sword Dancing.

Overall i think Assassins have to much good stuff to them compared to other heroes. They're fast, They have really good combos, Often some ******** abilities, Really quick Light attacks, Deflects, bleed and more. The heroes i think are in need of reworks or at least changes are : Shaman, PK, Beserker (A little bit), Orochi and Shinobi.

I have alot more to add but i'm just frankly tired atm, may post more later

The strongest heroes are currently the conqueror (he is the unquestionable number 1), the berserker, the highlander, the kensei and the shaman. Only two of them are assassins, and while the shaman is indeed built as an assassin with none of their drawbacks, the berserker's main strenght is not the speed, but the ability to always be the offensive party, while still having the strongest punishes in the game.

I have a very bad reaction time, but even I can block, and sometimes parry most orochi and pk lights, and as soon as you do that, what makes them broken (the light spam) is useless. It's seriously not that hard to block their attacks, and if you learn that, all that remains is a hero whit low damage and no openers, so yep, they need unblockables against turtles.

I dont really think Orochi is that good. But PK's can be real ****ers some times with their zone that is really hard to block (The first part) and the poison jab with almost every attack.

PK got massively nerfed, she deals very low Damage now and has nothing to open up a turtle. Her Dagger Cancel (the bleed from Top) does 10 Damage in Duel... In Dominion maybe 4-6 depending on your Debuff Resistance.

I agree to what RolandVermund said. Assassin's are not the Top Dogs overall anymore, look at Conq, Kensei and Highlander.

RolandVermund and Charmzzz I bet that you both use assassins class (Charmzzz has an Assassin's Creed avatar after all)...
    Then answer one simple question...
Why, whatever game mode i choose, I ALWAYS meet at least 2 Orochi's (it's getting really hard to play a match without any)?

    It's VERY questionable

I have a Rep 50 PK, a Rep 20 something Gladiator, a Rep 25 something Warden and recently I am playing Berserker (Rep 9 now). I like the Assassin Classes, true, but more for their playstyle than them being supergood.

Currently there are 3 static Guard Heroes in the Top 5 for Duel: Conqueror, Kensei, Highlander
In Dominion Kensei, Lawbringer and Raider are topping the Win % Charts.

It is NOT questionable, here: https://forhonor.ubisoft.com/game/en...m:154-76770-32

Conqueror has a 60% Winrate in Duel after his Rework in Season 5. Proven by Statistics of the Top 2.5% Players in Duels. They nerfed PK massively cause she had a 58% Winrate in Season 4.
