Just try to play lawbringer against a conqueror or a warden. You have nothing to punish the bash attacks, it's a really one-sided matchup (even if the conq isn't abusing the forward bash). His parry punishedl which are the defining skills of the character, aren't that good. His light parry punish is 45, and that's indeed the best in the game- however, some characters can deal 40, so no big difference. His wall punish is 50, but the centurion's is still better. His heavy parry punish is avarege at best, the berserker gets a guaranteed zone on a heavy parry, which deals more damage He is called a disabler, but his top heavy doesn't really disable you, he has no mixups after a succesful top heavy, either a medium speed light, a shove or a very slow unblockable is coming. He is really bad against anyone not giving free parries (the worst matchup might be the highlander actually, not the conq).
xd that people still think that this game will be balanced xDD ubisoft dont care about this game. ubisoft is just a cancer team who only care for money not for fair play. Division was ruined, for honor is ruined and i bet division 2 and skulls and bones will be the same bcause UBISOFT SUCKS
Lol, you keep posting in the For Honor suggestion forums, mostly not suggestions, just these things about Ubisoft and the game being thrash, but I guess you still play the game. The answer for your problem is really simple: don't buy Ubisoft games, don't play them and find something that doesn't suck. Most of the games flaws aren't coming from broken heroes, bugs, ignorant developers or ganking. The biggest problems are players like you. Just either leave the game, or try to act like a mature person when a better player beats you.
Havent seen any cheaters in 659 hours of playing. There were some "I am losing? Better pull the plug!" guys that were crashing my games, but thats in the past. Other than that - nothing.Originally Posted by Meranius Go to original post
This game is well programmed, have relatively few bugs for a game with so new concept. The game is fair, excluding some matchups, you can kill anything with any character if you are more skilled. I have never seen a cheater. The matchmaking is okay, I always get opponents, and they are rarely much better or much worse, I almost always enjoy the game. The problem is really with you, kid, your ego doesn't let you blame yourself for losing a game, so you either blame cheaters (actually some mechanic you don't understand properly nor care to understand), the balance, the game itself, the developers' parents, or anything but yourself. But even if we would pretend that you are right, you would still be stupid, because you play a game you know is thrash in every possible way. Do a favor for this game's community, developers, and for yourself too, and play something else.so you wanna say ubisoft games are well programmed, fair, have good matchmaking, less cheaters, fair balancing? xDD fankid
Orochis and Centurions are OP for sure. I've been playing for days with differents heroes in duels and these two classes are completely broken. Why? because they don't leave an opportunity to attack or defend to the others. Besides, you don't need skill to win with these two heroes. Just pressing buttons fast and you will win. That's why they are broken. That's why that is unfair. This is my argument, and it's pretty solid, because it's the truth. Nobushi is pretty decent and she is in balance. I've been playing with her and you can win with skill, but she is weak most of the times.
Orochi, yes. But Centurion isn't even near viable in duels at the moment.Originally Posted by Jmoyano92 Go to original post
The only situations where the Cent shines is in gank situations.
OP,
I would recommend spending more time against bots in training mode at different difficulties. It might seem pointless but those bots can sometimes teach you interesting things, specifically how to counter characters.
For Honor is just as much knowing how to counter your opponent as it is knowing how to play your own character. Over time, you'll learn what does and what doesn't work, and you'll generally improve. Wanna know why so many people cry for nerfs on new characters immediately? Because they don't know how to fight them, even if they know their own character perfectly. Yes, sometimes things aren't perfectly balanced but generally most of the complaining comes from people who haven't sat in training mode with a friend or a bot and just gets their *** beat until they learn how to defend themselves.
Keep your chin up, this isn't an easy game but it is satisfying to feel skilled at it.
P.S. Try more characters! Lawbringer and Warden aren't exactly the best characters in terms of balance right now, and it's possible that their fighting styles just don't fit your mindset as a player.
