Addition of Ability To Report Leavers

The problem in the current version of the game is that after a player leaves a game, there is no way to access their profile and click on the report button. Could you maybe just gray out their name after they leave or maybe make their name red or whatever. If you add this we could be able to access their profile after leaving and then report them for ruining the competitive match.

Leaving a match is not against the TOS dude.... Not even a little bit

All you are doing by reporting this **** is clogging the already overwhelmed support system

Especially in ranked, what the reporting system needs is a option to report with a selection of offenses that the player has committed. should help ubi prioritise and handle them more efficiantly

Players are allowed to leave a casual match at any time. Punishments for leaving a ranked match already exist and are dealt with automatically.

I believe you're both missing the point here. I could be wrong but he's not talking about simply reporting someone who leaves. He probably talking about reporting toxic behavior done by someone who leaves right after so they cannot be reported, with the way the system works currently at least. I've seen this countless times, people do something bad(team killing a single person most of the time) to troll, be toxic, revenge or just "because", then immediately leave the match, making it impossible to report them. I've seen it happens so many times, it's ridiculous.

Zoro, you're talking about losing points in ranked but that doesn't stop the toxic player from doing what he wants, that is, being toxic and getting away with it.

Ah yes, I seem to have misread. Apologies for the misunderstanding, thermira.

So there are a few things you can do in a case like this:

1.) If you're on PC, click Print Screen when you see the player in question leave the match. That way, you can submit a report directly to the support team with the player's username and your screenshot. The team can look into logs for additional evidence of their behavior.

2.) On console, (at least on PS4 I know for sure, I've never been an Xbox player) you are able to look at "players met" for a list of players you encountered recently. You can look in there to confirm the player's username and then report them to the support team.

I'll also add that TKs are tracked automatically, so if the behavior in question is TKing they will still have that TK on their account.

The team is working on improvements and expansions to the reporting system, but we will have to wait for more details on the changes.
