what should i do with it? almost everytime i got gear it sucked more than my default?
where can i find through guides for gears?

At first just go for the looks and dismantle everything else..

you will get better gear with leveluping rep of the character. Untill rep 1-2 i got very few viable options and also used some basic pieces. But bonuses are so low that it doesnt matter.
You dont have to worry about upgrading or changing looks of anything untill you start to get legendary gear drops you need at rep 7-8+. Max level of legendary gear is 30(drops start from 25lvl gear)

About stats ... It depends on character. Just wait untill it drops combination you like
IMO its better to ignore stats like:
-Defence - keep it not lower than 0 (everyone have Defense Penetration and its usually bigger than Defence so in most cases your def will be negated to 0)
-Revive speed...
-Block Damage

Always good stats to have
-Attack
-Revenge gain
-Debuff Resistance
-Stamina Cost Reduction

Others - depends on playstyle..

Very nice post above.
Basically just keep the gear you like and salvage the rest until you reach reputation 8. Don't upgrade anything and don't open any crates.
