I can't seem to install the 1.02 patch to GWX.I comes up with "Key GWX files were not found." Now It can't be due to old mods being installed beacause this is a brand new PC with a brand new HD & I have done the following:-

    1. Fresh Install of SH3
    2. Patched to 1.4b
    3. Installed Grey Wolves (TGW11a)

All worked fine. Ithen went to install 1.02 & I get the message, "Key GWX files were not found."

    Can someone please help?

I have a problem with GWX1.02 because I have my GWX Career located in My Docs, and everytime I try to install it there, I get an error message telling me I have mods still enabled in JSGME, when I do not. I have another GWX Install just for MP games, and was able to install it there no problem. I am frustradted as a cat in a bathtub full of water(Rrrreeeoooww!!!!!!!!)

Ummm, Tuddley, did you read the information at the link I posted in response to your q over at Subsim a few days ago? You will find the most likely cause of your problem.

Hint: Even if JSGME indicates that there are no mods installed, check your MODS\!BACKUP folder. If there are ANY files in there it means that you have files installed via JSGME, and they are most likely there because you deleted a mod without disabling it first. But you will quickly be able to tell from looking at the filenames.

Anyway, read the information at the link I posted over at Subsim. All will be explained.

PS, don't simply delete your MODS\!BACKUP folder as some will suggest, for whilst doing so will make the installer happy, it won't make you happy an hour or so later when your game CTDs through having modded files still installed.
