    PvP needs to be optional

requiring pvp content for daily and weekly rewards makes this a pvp game.

there should be no pvp required content to play the game and seek the rewards available.

pvp in the division 1 for some vets i know, triggered them. removing this one thing would make the game playable for them.

Refusing PvP options isn't right either though. There should be options for those who would rather PvP over PvE if they choose to.

I don't want the PvE players ignored, but I don't want PvP players ignored either. There can be a balance between the two.

Two tabs..... two similar list of objectives. The first one completed gets you the reward.

There is no daily or weekly objective that requires you to shoot another player, and if so, please point it out to me.

I think they meant objectives in the pve(vp) zone. Ergo.... kill x lmb in the dz. For the weeklies. Therefore adding things like clear y landmarks. Grab z supply caches. Collect m div tech. Clear n Contaminated zones.... or whatever. To make up a pve(vp) oriented weekly assignment. Be my guess.

From what has been seen & stated so far, it looks like they will be focusing more on the PvE aspect of the game this time around which I consider to be a good thing. That does not mean that PvP should be put on the back burner but it should most definitely not be the focus for second game.

PVP doesn't take a lot of time to do. Balance is the only thing that needs to be focused on and they removed a lot compared to TD1 to simplify the process

It depends on what approach they take with the second game. If it was my call, I would have both modes completely separate from each other. Secondly, they need to have the second game be more skill based than build based. This way the game does not run into the issue of players being able to face tank damage in a PvP environment. The playing field should be equal among all players across the board as well so gear sets/perks should be far less effective in PvP than they are in PvE. Raw stats should still matter but not nearly as much as it does in TD1.
