Just tried out the ranked mode for duel, and.... Why the hell is this retarted drop player for inactivity crap Ubi???
Got to play in the semifinal and after winning the first duel against my opponent 1-0 there, he decided that it's just better to run around avoiding me on the second round. After chasing after him for a while I got bored and stoppped in the centre of the map to wait for him to do some kind of a move. Afterwards the game drops me out for inactivity and slaps on the leaver penalty on top of that...

Seriously Ubisoft!?! F*** your matchmaker.

Your opponent will get a run speed and stamina debuff for running around like that. You should be able to catch up with him eventually.

Unless it's a shinobi versus something slow, just dodging backward. That wouldn't trigger the penalty.

While the kick and penalty is meant for those that would abuse going afk, it still seems that it was working as intended. If you find yourself against an opponent like that and you choose to not pursue them, make sure to continue pacing the battlefield.
