Let me start with the fact that i mostly enjoy playing For honor. I've been thinking about the bots lately. When a teammate of mine leaves the game, or someone from the enemy, do the bots only fight in their skill level, or are they obliged to behave like the former fighter in their place?
Why do I bring this up? Now, I noticed, that generally, bots can handle players my level and beyond preatty easily, for example, when my teammate left one time, a bot helped me win a brawl match, and it fought separately to me. What I found interesting however, is that in a match i had more recently, the bot (peacekeeper) actually searched out a different opponent for itself from which it started againts(me). Of course, he defeated my teammate with ease, but after that, the bot went ahead, and started hacking me left and right, WHILE I was still in combat with my original opponent - double-teaming is the proper phrase I think. So I was wondering, what can and should I expect from a bot, when someone leaves?
The bot will most likely actively search and attack everything it considers hostile. Sometimes they go for the objective in objective game modes, or for buffs in death match, and if you ask for a revive or assistance, they will generally consider it as priority and start to rush to the beacon they were called for (unlike most actual players, sadly). They never follow any kind of honor rules, they ledge, double team, and the level 2 and 3 bots also use revenge. Their combat knowledge, however, is very limited compared to an experienced player, so once you figure them out, they are generally easy to beat (they, however parry and dodge randomly. Attacks that would most likely catch a player might be just as easily parried by a bot, while they might not be able to deal with the slower, more telegraphed moves, I think it's random for them).
