The same old Flamers AND the same blind Defenders. Both are equally stupid.

They still haven't fixed the knife audio bug from the last special operation?!

Well seeing that they are not doing anything to the game, including bug fixes, between the updates, they haven't even attempted to fix the bugs and glitches from the last update. So if they don't get fixed with SO2, and any new ones, will not be addressed until SO3 is released.

The update takes 10GB per download. lmao. Sometimes I feel like just leave it as is until they really get the bugs done and fixed.

Not the first time I see bulk redownload of whole updates sent out so far and I do understand the precautionary purpose of doing so. But 10GB+ is just absurd as sh*t.

It's kept me out of the game for huge blocks of the year, that's for sure.. I am glad the updates are quarterly now.

I've only been able to get back jn to the game just this week. Prior you that, I haven't been able to play since I last attempted to get a dialogue on the issue earlier in the year.

Woulda been nice for a lead to jump in and make a thing of it. Simply say, "Hey we're gonna monitor this thread for 4 weeks and also request feedback on social media and see if people prefer less regular large updates. As it's not easily possible to put the client into an offline mode, without dropping a lot of work, currently ongoing in other areas, to actually do it. We realise it's not possible to play the game unless it's updated to the latest build, due to front end counters. At least less regular large content updates alleviates the data burden. After 4 weeks we'll look at responses and go from there." Woulda been a landmark event. -- Instead, I had a mod request to PM, when I'm not the only one with this issue of over large updates and data capped ISP services. Naturally (no offence to the mod concerned) I declined to take up the opportunity on that basis.

They defintely need the ability to apply hot fixes and smaller updates to fix outstanding bugs and issues.

I don't mind large patches, as long as they simply overwrite the previous update, and are not cumulative, taking up too much of my SSD.

I agree. They are not cumulative as they are mostly replacing existing files. As for the time to update, I usually just leave my PS4 on stand-by when I know there will be an update soon so when I'm ready to play, it's usually ready to go.

Of course, I don't have the data limits or bandwidth issues some people do so that's big part of why the file size isn't an issue for me. .....that isn't to say that it wouldn't be if I shared the same issues though.

Obviously, I see no downside to the consumer if they did in fact make smaller files for these updates. ....and/or a separation of GW from GRW if that is possible.
