Trials Rising on Switch: Analog Support and differences to other Systems

    Hey fellow Trials Riders,

I could not find an official response so far on how Trials Rising will handle on the Nintendo Switch, since that console obviously has no analog triggers. I'm really interested in picking up a Switch just to play Trials on the go and mainly at my work.

I was thinking that they could use the right control stick as accelerate and brake, even though it would require some learning, it's better than no analog support at all.

Also the analog sticks are quite important in the track editor, so that is a valid question in that regard as well.

I am also concerned about the capabilities of the switch. Will the Switch version completely be the same as the other console versions with a track editor etc. or will it be a trimmed down version?

Any information on that by developer or a date when we can hope for information on that issue will be super appreciated!

Details on the Switch version are extremely important to me. I’m also wondering what the heck it’ll play like since the switch doesn’t have analogue triggers. Also, will they have to cut the frame rate and resolution to get it to work? Or, does the switch version have simplified assets like Fusion did on the Xbox 360?
