I’m not going to argue your other points as they’re debatable, but you have me utterly baffled here. On PS4 R3 triggers a sprint/run and I can stay sprinting indefinitely.

Again. This isn't the case for me. One shot from a .50 cal is enough in my experience.

    They don't.

You can run and swim indefinitely.

True, if the game is going for ultimate realism, but aside from MilSims like Arma, I don't know any shooter where anyone that's hit bleeds out.

I've never had a bat magically fix itself, But the weapon wheel was a terrible terrible invention. FPS should go back to the simple system of tapping a button to scroll through the weapons.
At first release, you could run indefinitely. After one of the updates, they changed it to where you only run for a few meters before you slow down and have to press the run button again. Animals can bleed out if you don't kill them with the first shot. I have seen it many times. Peggies bleed out as well, if they are not revived by one of their comrades. You can carry more than one bat. If one breaks, it is replaced with another one from your inventory.

Really? Not played in quite a while now, but this is a bizarre decision.

Oh yeah it is completely stupid. And I have to apologize you can head shot Moose and Buffalo with the .50. I was just aiming at the wrong part of the head. Once I adjusted my aim I was able to get more consistent head shots.

Also if you haven't played the game in awhile you really shouldn't defend it as things change. Stupid running mechanic as an example.

True to an extent, but I’d loaded the game after the last update to check on a couple of things and didn’t notice this change. I obviously didn’t check the sprinting but then I had no reason whatsoever to think they may have changed it. I mean why? What logic are they working on to say we can only run for three seconds? Bizarre and ridiculous thing to change.

While running from an animal, or enemy........I want to look back quickly. Just throw a glance running away from danger. It will make chasing more exciting! When you see someone or something running after you....closer and closer....always adrenaline!

The next patch should break the game even more, so you can then add to your long list of complaints. Ubisoft, where we make the best broken games for your entertainment!

I really have to ask, in all seriousness and with no trolling intended, what do you think you're achieving by hanging around here to do nothing but complain about the game?

You're disappointed - hell, do we get that, but is there no other games you could be playing?

I'm genuinely baffled as to why anyone would want to hang around a forum for the sole purpose of bad mouthing a game. Far Cry 5 has proved to be a massive disappointed for you and others, so just move on for God's sake.

not that an ubi ****-rider like yourself would understand, but ubi has EARNED every bit of that criticism.

generally speaking (although a byproduct of leadership) they're incompetent, greedy, incapable of taking feedback, and tone deaf with design. and when they do finally act, it's usually out of necessity in order to push their latest dog**** dlc. and considering how badly they mangled what little sandbox gameplay there was in fc5 with their "resistance system," there's hardly any point to go back to the game beyond its exceedingly dumb story...

but wait, i forgot! thanks to arcade, i'm an ubi dev too! who needs a functional sandbox game when i can create endless **** content with rehashed assets via a copyright map editor!

their games are so inherently shallow, they're basically $60 tech demos...
