Please create a combined map for "The Division" and "The Division 2" which will help all the player exit in the same gameplay. No one has to leave the "The Division 1" for sake of "The Division 2" and one who has bought both the games can travel between both and for other, the map will be locked until unless they purchase.

And ultimately different games. The Division 2 is being developed with improvements in mind across the board. Of course, that means additions to the Snowdrop engine that wouldn't transfer back to The Division. Still, a combined map is an interesting idea (seeing NYC and D.C. side by side).Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
An interesting DLC as well, giving an update on what ultimately happens to NYC, and perhaps allow you to import your Division One character as a premade levelled toon. Not what you would want at the start of The Dvision 2, but perhaps in year 2?Originally Posted by UbiAmper Go to original post
Any integration or combined activity between the two 'Worlds" would be quite awesome and something I would think never done before. Being that D1 is in fact a different game at a different time period, Ubi has an opportunity to do something special here. I for one will still play D1 as well as D2. I would play D1 longer if it was still getting updates and small bits of content over time, especially if said content encouraged me to play D2 for a reward. Take what has been done with the shields content, and expand it!
Of course I know it would not happen, nor do i think it should, linking content from Div1 and Div2. But it was a pretty cool feature in dying light where you traveled between the slums and old town. Both maps were pretty large, and it was cool to have the two different feeling areas to play in.I know, that was one game, but the ability to travel between cities was cool.
I can't see this ever happening with the Div 1, but how cool would it be if the Div2 has staying power and they created jumps between cities? Like, head to Dulles Airport and fast travel back to Laguardia. And then expand and fast travel over to LAX. The possibilities are then endless, what with international flights too :-)
