So, after the closed beta and the open beta, I can honestly say, really great job on it so far. There are some things that need to be fixed and/or added to the game. A few things from The Crew that should be added to the Crew 2:
1: The racing/driving/gps visible route when you set a way point. This is really helpful, especially at NIGHT! (More on this in a few).
2: The Perk System. It could be set up in a way, you beat the main driver/racer in each class, and certain perks of theirs automatically are added or you can buy them to add to your driving skills.
3: New Landmarks. These were not only fun to collect, but very informative for people who are either not from the US or don't know small facts like these about places in America. A whole list of new places and sights could be used for more Landmarks.
4: Wrecked/Abandoned Vehicles/Fragment Crates: Any of these would be a good addition to The Crew 2. They were fun and challenging all at the same time.
Stuff that needs to be fixed/tweaked:
1: HEADLIGHTS!!! This cannot be expressed enough. The headlights are terrible in this game. Same issue with The Crew. Think about this, do the headlights on your real life car you drive, at night when it's dark, point directly DOWN in front of your cars? Or do they point more FORWARD? And they need to be a lot BRIGHTER. Maybe add a way to go from low to high beams as well?
2: I've ran across light posts, etc that are not placed properly like sitting above the ground high enough to drive under. During the closed beta there was a section of fencing that was in more of a smiley face shape. One part of the section of fence was half in the ground and the ends were in the air. Railroad tracks that don't connect right. The outside track doesn't connect all the way, no middle transition rails for switching over, and no switching stations.
3: Some handling on street racing and other vehicles needs to be tweaked. It should be a little bit easier for most cars to drift around corners no matter if they are set up for it or not.
Overall: 9/10 Stars IMHO so far. Graphics are pretty good. Game play is pretty good. Story and racing classes are fun to explore. I actually enjoy searching for the loot boxes. Although, like mentioned above, wrecked/abandoned vehicles would be nice to add to the game. @Ubisoft and @Ivory Tower, keep up the great work!!

I drive past a bunch of the stuff listed above. Posts, railroad track issues, etc. You can also see how the night driving is with the headlights. Feel free to look through my open beta videos and go from there. Can't wait for it to be released. Pre-ordered here few weeks ago. Standard Edition.Too poor to afford higher price versions right now....0.o
The motorcycle in the crew 2 seems more twitchy then in the crew 1, hopefully they could tweak it down some atleast so I can do wheelies and endos properly...
I love the fact that they added custom livery im very content with it... But it would be better if they added more options such as
*Making the vinyls chrome or glossy instead of just being matte
*If they can add more vinyl options mainly fading vinyls
*The ability to fine tune/scrub with vinyls for an accurate repositioning
And thats really it...
1.The gravity needs to be dialed down more to stop the crash down of the cars and boats
2.No more Wall Grinding this can be fixed by making them slow down on the wall grind
3.This may be conflicting but I think you should add cops in FREEROAM not the races. For example TDU2 had cops in free roam even though it was legal racing
These three things would be simply amazing if this could be squeezed in between the Open Beta and The Full game or just in a update
Noticed the same problem in boats where the GPS would go straight to the destination. Didn't matter whether I was in a river, lake, or along the coastline.Originally Posted by GeneralChaos16 Go to original post
Makes sense for a plane to have a straight line like that. I'm in a road car and I get a proper route that follows the road, but the boats don't?
