Are we talking to the wall???

If they have not changed a simple thing since the closed beta, which is to improve the lights in vehicles, why are we testing this game at all? and whats the point of our feedback?

Attract future customers. That's about it.

We are just testing servers - nothing more... open beta was available week after closed beta, so what did you expected?

They failed miserably with me so far! lol I was ready to buy the game without trying it out, because it looked so AMAZING on all the Youtube videos. But playing the open beta is having the opposite effect. Instead of attracting me to buy it, I am starting to feel a palpable sense of relief that I was able to try it out so now unless something changes, particularly with the CHEAP AI, I am not buying it.

Ubisoft doesn't care about the customers they care about making a profit.

I think that we have to make a clear delineation between a publishing company and a game development company. Strictly speaking, since Ubisoft is just the publisher, their entire job, from beginning to end is to only care about the financial considerations, in other words, the money. Ubi is tasked with investing all the money into the project, paying for advertising, releasing all the propaganda, deciding what DLC, microtransactions, and various packages will cost, and marketing the game from top to bottom. So its a little unfair to slam Ubisoft with the whole "They only care about profit" label.

The only people in the chain that actually care about the game, or rather are paid to care about the game, are the developers, writers, and artists in Ivory Tower. Also, remember that in most cases, the developers have to answer to the publishers. AND they are expected to adhere to a certain code of conduct with regard to their Internet presence, forum posts, and social media activity. So it may very well be, as one of the mods suggested in another thread, that devs from Ivory don't post here because they know they will invariably be deluged with a sh*tstorm from many members. I still believe devs should be more active in their own official forums, though. Even if they have to take a little heat. But that's me.

I definitely disagree with enough of the development choices in this game to hold off on buying it, if I buy it at all, after playing the open beta. But I don't think its fair to either hold it against Ubisoft for "only caring about the money," or to presume that the devs don't care about the game simply because they made decisions that you or I disagree with.
