With the new filters I can't tell yet if I'm overdoing it or not. Gotta get used to the stuff, I guess.
And now for some pre-Hollywood pictures:
(Full saturation without making my eyes bleed. It's all about balance. Too bad the shot gets ruined by the crappy draw distance of the bridge. Shh, just don't tell anyone!)

Because game as a whole, and this filter is no exception, mostly relies on screen space reflections. SSR cant mirror something that isnt also directly rendered on screen (this is why its called screen space). SSR is practically useless for mirrors, they require more demanding techniques.Originally Posted by TAPE971 Go to original post
And making all roads ouside of this filter ultra reflective like in original NFSU? No thanks.
I know this game uses SSR. But the way reflections are implemented into the game outside this photomode filter is just mediocre at best and could have been done better with SSR. Horizon 2-4 GTA V and partially TC1 have better reflections those are also for the most part SSR (GTA in parts uses a low-res version of the map for reflections + SSR).Originally Posted by Anykeyer Go to original post
This thread has now become circular, I am copying myself (somewhat):

Pictures in the linked post are from the open beta and can't be replicated perfectly due to graphics changes (for the worse) but I also didn't try very hard.
Well, here's original new stuff. Maybe I'll redo that in the future too, who knows...

Picking was really hard this time.
