one of the worst game i have ever played

every thing about the game is good, but its a race game and the races are **** very ****.it looks like the bots are hacking.
the whole race i'am first and in the last 400 meters the bots getting a boost. it looks like they teleporting. my car 2 times so fast but thry racing me out. and every time its happening. and then i lose the race.
its actualy so bad that i wont buy the game if it didient get fixed.

I am not a fan so far. I love the concept, the size of the country, and think its an incredibly bold move creating a virtual country like the US. I love the planes, boats, off road, and street vehicles. But the AI is just too damned cheap.

I don't understand why devs pull this kind of sh*t. I really don't. Look, I am clearly NOT one of the elite drivers in videogames. When I go online, if I go online, I expect to get my @ss handed to me by the best drivers, and when that happens, I tip my cap and smile at the skill level of REAL PEOPLE. Games like Midnight Club (1, 2, 3, and LA), GTA V, Burnout Paradise, etc. Although in Paradise I did manage to work my up to be one of the best on the leaderboars, but I digress.

Newsflash: Elitist Devs, make the SP experience more balanced and NOT cheap. Jeeze, why do devs continue to put up walls between the player and SP accomplishment? Can't you just let Online be the place where some e-version of natural selection works? Criterion did this PERFECTLY with Burnout games, especially Paradise. Rockstar also does it with GTA, Midnight Club, and that old game Smuggler's Run. None of those games SLAMMED players into AI walls like this one does.

You know what? Even for FREE, I don't feel like I am getting my money's worth with this. Obviously I am kidding about that last part. Still, though, too damned frustrating.

Admittedly I only have one vehicle of each type unlocked, and am doing events with them. Right now I am only talking about the street racing, since with that first car, and NOT a lot of money, the AI is way cheap. Here are some problems:

    1. I just booted up Padadise as well as GTA V, and a few of the PS3 Midnight Club games to try a little experiment. Hell, even Midnight CLub 2 and 3 on PS2 I just tried this with. One HUGE problem with TC2 is that the graphics, even in 4K, are nice, but the cities, streets, paths, shortcuts, and checkpoints all blend into one another and look so generic its often VERY DIFFICULT to plot courses on the races. Even Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition and MC2, with their crappy PS2 graphics make it easier to see where you want to go and need to go through the race.

    2. This game is supposed to be free roam. Yet its trying to be a track racer. For the love of God, WHY???? Get rid of the STUPID yellow dividers with the black arrows. Oh wait, you can't! Because everything in the cities looks so awfully generic that its too difficult to plot courses through the areas to get to your next check point. Take the dividers away and the player would be totally lost. Um.....Burnout Paradise doesn't need dividers. GTA IV and V don't need dividers. No Midnight Club game needs dividers. Why? Because the landmarks and streets and checkpoints are all EASY to find. The shortcuts are all EASY to find. The routes and alternate routes are all easy to find. So I take it back. Leave the dividers, Because your generic cities NEED the guidance, and in fact, often even the yellow dividers and arrows aren't enough.

    3. What in the hell were you thinking making the checkpoints SMALL and yellow...by the way the same color as the dividers? The checkpoints blend into the scenery. Jeeze, Rockstar makes HUGE wide, colorful checkpoints easily seen and navigated to, whether GTA or Midnight Club. These yellow checkpoints bizarrely bizarrely blend into the rest of the scenery.

The crazy thing is that ALL OF these problems would be mitigated substantially, including the mysteriously generic looking streets and landmarks, IF the AI would just slow down. The problem with the AI being this inherently difficult is it calls attention to the other flaws in the game! I wouldn't even notice all that other stuff probably if the game were easier and the AI less cheap.

Yeah, I probably need to buy more cars, but sadly, I think I am done with this game. Free or not, there is no way in hell its worth the level of frustration to try and claw my way into first place against about the cheapest AI I have ever seen. Well, no that isn't entirely true. You devs share that honor with Project Gotham 3 and the really difficult races in that old game Ridge Racer.

In the future, you people might want to learn a little something from dev companies like Rockstar and Criterion. Let the medium level players get spanked online. Stop doing it to them in SP.

Makes me think that ubi rushed the release of the game before summer to avoid the clash of which games to buy through October. The new Forza is gearing up to be a decent game, maybe they didnt want the competition. Imagine what 3 months of extra-development and feedback would do for the game.

I already cancelled my pre-order. It's very simple for me:

    1) The car physics are terrible. Beyond arcadey. Not fun at all. And at it's heart, this is a car racing game. That should have been the first thing that was perfected. Worse than games from the '90s like Gran Turrismo 1. Far worse than anything in the Forza series. It's 2018, get this right! Motorcycles are even worse. Planes/boats feel ok. I'm honestly not sure if they will ever be able to fix this, but it's definitely going to take some time. Maybe I'll revisit buying this a year or two down the road if this gets addressed. Everything else in the entire game rides on this, so even though the scale of the game is incredible and there are tons of extremely great things to do, this is gamebreaking.

    2) The AI, as mentioned above, is terrible.

    3) No racing line or gps line and is frequently very difficult to see on mini map or with the corner markers which way to turn.

I know the game was already severely delayed... I preordered it nearly 2 years ago. But this should be delayed another 6-12 months to make it a playable game.

Yeah I am thinking about canceling my pre-order as well. Ubi never cares about its customer base.
