    Nerf back dodges

I just had an idea: what would happen if we would completely remove the ability to dodge backward while out of stamina? It's still easy to get away from some character's pressure without stamina just by dodging backward, completely negating the side-effects of wasting stamina. Characters like the shugoki might perform much better if he could say in his exhausted opponents' face and either force them to the ground, or deal massive block damage, depending on how well his opponent read them. It would be even realistic, if you are exhausted and try to back away in panic, you will most likely lose your balance.

I think it would help the game, it would make the spammers more careful in every match-up.

    Interesting idea.
They could also implement a stamina cost for dodges.

The kicks can be dodged to the side, the heavies can be blocked, the unblockable heavies can be parried quite easily, the punches are mostly jokes, and of course it's not hard to counter his guardbreaks. That's all you need: dodge the kicks and punches, parry the unblockable (what is unfeintable when it becomes unblockable), and dodge the kicks. That's all you need against a centurion right now, and it wouldn't really change without the back dodges (they are mostly tracked by most of his stuff either way).
