    OK!

I have been posting a few times lately.

Under the pretence that perhaps. I could enlighten some?

However! Far from being an oracle. I have found that, everyone of us. Has stuck by this Forum and gained consumate knowledge?(Drunk again!).

Who would have thought, that in reality the Germans got whupped by American idealism? /The British had excellent planes but dreamer/imperialistic flyers?/ The Italians had good planes with Loser pilots/The Russians had c**p planes. But plenty of them and the will?/The Japanese had great planes and flyers but rubbish colourschemes /Everybody else did what they were told/sold? Barring the Finnish and the Hungarians. Who actually had the perception of what they were fighting for?

    Ce'st la guerre.

    Do I blether, S***e?

I grew up in Los Angeles in the Thirties. I volunteered for Marine aviation when war broke out. I had a tender love affair with a nurse. She accepted my proposal. I was horribly wounded in combat over the South Pacific. I managed to bring my wounded Corsair home, but my wounds were mortal. I died in her arms. I entered a dark place but I was moving forward. Suddenly, I was sucked from the void and I was a baby in a crib, looking up at my father. I remember thinking, "What's this!"
