Pilots have unique abilities and different ships will have different stats.

I'll see if I can find more details on those aspects.

Hey WolfsheadBin, check out my replies (and the video links) to the discussion about "Here's how much everything costs". I managed to hunt down videos showing all the ship stats and loads about the pilots and weapons. The quick answer is that all are different. Pilots each have a unique special ability and then a skill tree related to upgrading aspects of that special ability. Ships each have different balance of the 4 ship stats (Speed, handling, defense and energy) but you can use mods that you find in game to alter these base stats. Each weapon is different, with differeing ranges, energy usage, rate of fire, elemental types, etc., also all mod-able. It looks like it will be really good for people like me that enjoy upgrading and modding.

    Hey clintnield,

The game supports a local drop-in/drop-out split-screen multiplayer co-op, which you can start playing right away. Each physical toy unlocks a digital copy when connected to a controller mount.
