Dear Ubisoft,
I tried to find the answer to this question, but I couldn't find anything definitive.
Will I be able to play Far Cry 5 after the ending? Has the problem with the never ending credits been fixed?
I guess I should clarifiy: Will I be able to play the game without having to restart it?

Thanks for the answer! Will there still be any bad guys to shoot? Or do they disappear after the ending?Originally Posted by mr_wilson1954 Go to original post
From what I have read here on the forum...... they will be few and far between. Sorry I cannot actually say; for although I am into my 5th play-through of the game, I dislike the ending and refuse to play it. So after defeating John, Faith and Jason, instead of going to the church; I select "BEGIN A NEW GAME".Originally Posted by MountainRiderAK Go to original post
(Ya can't kill Joseph so what's the point IMHO, and I'll be damn'd if I'm gonna end up back at the beginning tied to the same bunk-bed looking at his sorry butt, him thinking I'm gonna be his new a$$kisser - so I chose starting over, as trophies and completion stats mean nothing to me)
ps - you can still do missing missions in defeated areas and have cultists to battle, as I have done some of these missed missions and they do have action - but I assumed above you meant AFTER one of the two lousy ending choice has been made and the credits roll in my comment above......, you can view the forums as there are plenty of threads on the lack of activity after the game ends.
Thanks for the answer mr_wilson1954!
I finished the game and afterwards there were still plenty of bad guys to fight. Any undefeated outposts have bad guys and there are some side missions that cause bad guys to show up. Also, there are guys with red balaclavas and compound bows roaming the map.
There is also a new menu option: Outpost Master. The description says "Reset all Cult Outposts to their hostile state. You cannot enable Outpost Master until you complete the campaign missions and liberate all Cult Outposts." So for folks who want to keep their progress and still have bad guys to shoot, this looks like the way to do it.
