The AI and the fight to the death....

So its 6mths after a global pandemic and the resulting armageddon has seen the world change forever. Society has crumbled and factions have taken over from civilisation!

    And yet.......

..... enemies still fight to the death!?!

We will see some sort of variation in some of the non-mission based firefights?

Say for instance an AI that will try to move back whatever remnants of its ppl have survived initial contact with a group of agents? Maybe to return later in another encounter to beef up what would have been the same number of enemies at the same encounter point!?

So will the AI always fight to the death? Should it fight to the death? What should happen otherwise....?

You'd let them go? What kind of agent are you? No one escapes me! :P

Actually, it would be interesting, as long as it's done realistically, and not by making them invincible for their retreat,
