First of all you need to be playing the game and have many hours logged on it on pc for you to even qualify.

Next they see how much of that time is spent in PvP and lastly if you've been selected they will send you an email

From the Reddit recap of the last Warrior's Den:

Tech test coming in a couple of weeks for PC only, testing the new breach mode (only on 1 map for this test) + shaolin and tiandi will be playable too! but all the other heroes are still playable too, just not the other 2 Wu Lin heroes. Test is NDA and closed (PC ONLY). Selections are for people with a lot of playtime (although the amount needed was not specified, not everyone is guaranteed to be invited). Emails could be rolling out next week. They said that there may be some unbalancing with the new mode and with this tech test it will help them discover how to improve it and to also collect user feedback.
