    Damage Model - A step backwards

    The new damage and crash model is worst than TC1.

    In TC1 you would have bumpers hanging off and even though you would bounce off most things you hit you could total your car going full speed into a wall.

    In TC2 I only get a few scratches which auto heal after about 15-30 seconds you can actually just watch it fade away. I can't see any bumper damage or deformation of the car just scratchs. Full speed into a wall head on you just bounce off. In some cases drivign into cars or walls at slower speeds you actually bounce backwards like 2 bumper cars.

    I've heard the argument that manufacturers don't want their cars bashed up in games but this is less damage than TC1 and even in TC1 damage model was very bland.

    Agree. What is more. Damage model of newer cars is worse, than that ported one from The Crew 1.

    the reason why there is not a damage model is due to licening from other car manufacturers who dont want their cars broke, and so theyd have to make every car like that for uniformity. ****ty, but not much we can do at this point, unless they use unlicensed cars.

    2. Some cars have Damage model and some not
    3. These cars without damage model maybe can be because of Brand manufactures and things around it... (like "we dont want our new Mercedes be damage too much")

    Even NFS Payback has heavy damage on every cars, including licensed cars like McLaren F1, etc.

    So I guess it comes to cost. Maybe they have to pay more to get permissions for damage.

    I would rather turn cosmetic damage off for all vehicles instead of having just some vehicles with visible damage.
